WE HAVE FLOWN |
We are lucky enough
to have provided flying demonstrations at some wonderful locations
up and down the country and enjoyed fantastic crowds at spectacular
events and locations. These include working for the Duke of Buccleuch
at the wonderful Drumlanrig castle in Dumfries & Galloway which
was an incredible venue to fly birds at and where we saw some of
the most spectacular high flying from our wonderful male Tawny Eagle
called Floyd, we miss flying there very much after their decision
to stop having birds of prey there, and dearly hope that one day
we will be asked to return there. In addition, we have flown at the
Dumfries Aviation Museum Air Show, Edinburgh Castle, Glasgow Science
Centre, Stirling Castle, Dundas Castle, Floors Castle Game Fair,
Airth Castle, Balbirnie Castle Hotel, The Forrestry Commission Country
Show at The Kyle of Lochalsh, The Islay, Lewis & Harris Agricultural
Show, SNH at Cairnsmore of Fleet Nature Reserve, Sky Tv's annual
SkyFest at The Royal Highland Showground, Doune & Dunblane Agricultural
Fair, Fife Steam Rally, Cluny Clays Country Day, and the state of
the art back drop of The Falkirk Wheel which brings many unique obstacles
to overcome for flying, but again enjoys large and diverse crowds
on each of our visits each year.
To these and many many more - too many to mention, I'd like to say thank you
for your hospitality and the opportunity to fly our birds for the pleasure of
your guests. |
We have decided however to reduce the number of off site demonstration
we provide. We have a considerable obligation to several private
and corporate clients who have pre-booked us for a great many days
and weekends in the coming years. We do have odd weekends available
for off site demonstrations, but there are fewer dates available
each year. If you would like to have Elite Falconry provide a tremendous
attraction at your event, bringing experience, a diverse, interesting
and constantly evolving team of birds to give an informal friendly
static display, followed by a flying demonstration of a duration
of your choice including owls, hawks, vultures, falcons and mighty
eagles, then book soon! Dates are at a premium!
While much of the off site work we do is for private clientelle at
such as weddings, corporate entertainment days and private functions,
we still have a calendar of public events. We have decided to keep
these listed on this page, so should you wish to come along and meet
us, see the birds and enjoy a flying demonstration, then this is
the page where you'll find details of the events and venues we are
attending that are open to the public.
