FALCONRY EXPERIENCE
The
most challenging, but visually probably the most rewarding discipline
in falconry is the elusive flight of the falcons at game such as
pheasant, partridge or king of the game birds, the red grouse.
Falcons have now been recorded at speeds over 250mph.
The sight and sound of the flight and impact of the falcon
and her target makes a memory that is etched in your memory for life.
Falconers and guest walk in and meet the falcon (alongside the pointer
who found the game in the first place) enjoying her prize in a picture
of serenity. The contrast is amazing. Game hawking is available on
a limited basis each year and game seasons apply.
